About the Mom Friend Club
Motherhood is better with a village. This is the one we are building.
Why we started
It started with a few moms who didn't want to do it alone
Motherhood can be strangely lonely. You can love your kids with everything you have and still spend most of the week with no adult conversation, no one who gets why you are tired, and no easy way to make a new friend once you are past the age where friends just happen.
The Mom Friend Club started because a handful of moms in the Woodbine area felt exactly that and decided to do something about it. A standing Tuesday morning. Coffee. Kids underfoot. No agenda except being in the same room as other moms.
A year later it is a full rhythm: weekly Tuesday meetups, kid-free moms nights, seasonal events, and a group that shows up with a meal or a welcome basket when someone is having a hard month. Same idea it started with. You do not have to mom alone.
